Do I Really Need to Print 5×7 ...

Question by MorningLightMountain: Do I really need to print 5×7 photos for on the spot event photo printing?
I am planning to buy a printer for taking and printing pics at parties, that party-goers have expressed an interest in being able to buy right then.
My question is, do I need to goto 5×7 prints, or will the old standard 4×6 do?
I ask because 4×6 is much cheaper and much more convenient!
But I can understand why people would want a 5×7.

I think you could do 4″x6″ as a standard but offer larger sizes and charge more.

What Do You Think Is a Good Target ...

Question by chokoy: What do you think is a good target number of photos for an album?
I recently traveled to India with my family. We saw a lot of sights, but between multiple digital cameras there’s too many photos. I want to make a photo album. What do you think is a good target number of photos for the album? I’m starting with about 800 photos. Yikes!

Any tips for creating a photo album or how to avoid this problem in the future are appreciated too. Thanks! :)

I am a photographer, I took plenty of pictures for Mardi gras pictures this year. I started off at 500, picked out a few favorites and ones i couldnt live without. Ended up with around a hundred (91 to be exact). http://www.wwl.com/Mystic-Krewe-of-Barkus/9298926

You can also seperate them, witch I do sometimes. And use quotes from the travel as names of the albums. Say you want to keep them all, make 8 photo albums of a hundred all with different titles.
