The modern wedding planner’s task is a juggling act, from choosing unique custom bridal favors, kid’s confections vs. adult treats, to considering the pros and cons of Mix Tape vs. DJ vs. Live Band. For those wedding planners who want to rent out a reception facility, Do the Bride a Favor agrees with a recent Baltimore Sun article that states that it makes sense to ask for an onsite venue coordinator to be included as part of the wedding package. Do the Bride a Favor is impressed with the benefits an onsite venue coordinator can provide for wedding planners.
An onsite venue coordinator can often be added at no extra charge during vendor negotiations. This person is then in an excellent position to act as liaison between vendors and wedding planners, communicating in real-time the concerns and issues of each to the other so that there are no undue surprises as the big day approaches. In addition, an onsite venue coordinator is perfectly placed to translate the bride and groom’s preferences and personalities into language vendors can make sense of, and act upon promptly. This is especially important, DtBaF stresses, in the areas of lighting, climate control, catering and bar ambience, as well as the dimensions of the reception hall, photo location options, and logistics for the ceremony itself.
Do the Bride a Favor concludes that wedding planners should consider adding an onsite venue coordinator as part of a reception facilities rental package, especially since such an agent can often be added at no extra charge.

Question by : How do I shorten photo taking time after the wedding ceremony?
We have an hour before hand to do photos (Bride and Groom will NOT see eachother.) Then two hours to take photos after the ceremony. How do we cut the time down after the ceremony? Plus the photographer WANTS two hours…he is really into his job and he could take photos all day if he wanted to. Please help and no smart azz comments and links.

Question by johngineer: Congratulating the bride and groom at a Hare Krishna wedding?
I will be attending a Hare Krishna wedding in a few weeks, and I’d like to congratulate the bride and groom with something appropriate.
What is the appropriate thing to say? I’m guessing it would be the same for mainstream Hindu as it would for Hare Krishna, but I have no idea. Please help!

The best thing will be to wish them that they may serve Srila Prabhupad in his mission together , as one after marriage..
As a gift u may give them a photo of Radha Krishna… lot of them are available in Hare Krishna temple..
If u are close friends with them and wana give them something big.. u can give them a fiber or brass deity of Radha Krishna….
or u may even give them a beautiful fiber or brass cow.. they would love it too.. ( she shows a very loving gesture.. Lord Krishna loves cows.. )
But i think they would consider your wishes to be above any gift..
They would love to hear you give them wishes like ” serve Radha Krishna and help in Prabhupad’s mission with each others help”
What do you think? Answer below!
