Problem by noseyparker4: My mother posted my pregnant bride photographs on her facebook – how really should I offer with this?
My husband and I got married just about a week in the past in the Bahamas. We wanted it to be quite personal, casual, and discrete, since I am 6 months pregnant. We needed to get married before but could not since of my work (long story). We have been engaged for 14 months even though and extremely committed to getting married.

Anyway we failed to actually want to make a massive fuss about the marriage ceremony and wanted to do it in non-public away from very judgmental close friends and family members members. So, we went to elope in the Bahamas. My husband’s mom, however, made a decision to come along at the last minute, and as soon as she made a decision to arrive, my mom insisted upon coming as well. We failed to come to feel like we could tell our mothers not to show up at our wedding, so we failed to clarify to them that we just needed it amongst the two of us.

Anyway, I did not even discover this for the duration of the ceremony due to the fact I was so caught up with staring into my new husband’s eyes, but my mother took extraordinary quantities of photographs, as did my new mom-in-legislation. The day my mother returned, she had pregnant bride images all above her facebook. When I say this I suggest that in some way, her photos produced me appear hugely pregnant. I did not want any pregnant bride images at all, and surely not plastered all over facebook for all our friends and household to see. I asked my mom to get rid of the pregnant bride photographs, and she removed 4 out of the eighteen she had posted. The ones left still plainly showed that I was pregnant. She also set on images where I had my eyes closed or had a amusing expression on my encounter. We did not want our marriage ceremony to be portrayed in this way.

My issue is – how do I clarify to my mom forcefully sufficient that I want her to take away the offending photographs?
To solution busymama’s query – we acquired married pregnant because I did not want to have the little one out of wedlock for religious good reasons. We wished to be discrete about it however!

What is offensive about becoming pregnant at your marriage ceremony? You are pregnant and I would guess she is just showing her buddies the wedding photos. Absolutely nothing sinister about it. The larger offer you make about this, the even worse it can be going to get. Just allow it go. How several close friends would your Mom have anyway? ten?
