Question by slwcsok: How do I get more copies of marriage ceremony pictures from proofs, when the photographer is dead and studio is closed?
The marriage ceremony was 11 years back, pictures were taken with movie, obtained proofs of all pictures. I now want to get a lot more than the original package deal I had bought but the photographer is deceased and his studio closed. No one particular, as way as I know, has purchased his stock or his studio. I would like to get far more photos printed from the proofs but it wouldn’t function when I took the proofs to Walgreens to scan and print. The guy at the photograph counter was no assist and I do not know what to do now. Thank you for any input.

Examine and see if he has any heirs in the region. If so, they may well attempt and find your negatives.
You might check out scanning your prints into your personal computer at residence (if you have a flatbed scanner) and then conserving them to a CD or DVD to just take to Walgreens.
If you never have a scanner you can pick up a single at Business office Depot or Finest Buy. I use an HP Scanjet 4850 but there are probably newer types now.
What do you believe? Solution under!

Just a warning, enlarging a print from a smaller print doesn’t always have the best result. The pictures can lose detail.
